Drew Ackroyd


Drew trained at Rose Bruford College.

Recent directing credits include Mass Appeal (Finborough Theatre), Huis Clos, the London Premiere of I Have Before Me… , the European Premiere of Larry Kramer's The Destiny of Me (Finborough Theatre), Ciboulette (San Francisco Opera Studio), Fish Tales (National Tour), No Time To Cry (MTV). Rehearsed Readings include Castro's Beard (The Arts Theatre), A Minor Dark Age (The Actor Centre), The Modern Man (Producers Club NYC). Assistant Directing credits include Natural Inclinations (Steven Little), Barber of Seville (Darren Royston) and Dark of the Moon (Phillip Wilson) He studied Forum Theatre and the methodology of Augusto Boal with the Centre for the Theatre of the Oppressed and Contact Improvisation with Rick Zoltowsky. Drew also teaches, is a freelance script editor for BBC Radio Four, Associate Director at KIT productions and Artistic Director of State of Play productions.
