Paul Gustafson taught in Oxford for over 20 years and has a wealth of educational experience. He has written and co-written several books in a range of subjects including sport and natural history. As well as writing, Paul has also appeared in many television and radio programmes for the BBC, ITV and Sky including Tales from The Riverbank with BBC2 as well as In The Heart of the Country and Tight Lines.

Paul's ever popular series, Eggbert's Adventures has taken five years to develop. Written in consultation with parents, teachers and the children themselves, it aims to widen children's vocabulary and hone their reading ability whilst providing great enjoyment, entertainment and education. Eggbert was illustrated by the leading children's illustrator Ray Mutimer, illustrator of Postman Pat and Rupert and Friends.

Paul has also written the best selling book entitled How to Catch Bigger Pike with Harper Collins Publishers 1997. It has now sold more copies than any other book on this particular subject, and is now known as The Bible in the field of Pike Fishing and has been distributed worldwide.
